Invest thirty shekels
(or if perhaps just 3 shekels)…
and save hundreds of shekels!
Yes, if you have a leak in your toilet (many apartments have such leaks) and since they either go unnoticed or it is not known how to fix them — lots of water and money is lost!
For an investment of maximum 25 shekels (or perhaps just 3 shekels) you may be able to save yourself one hundred shekels on your next water bill! (and do your part to save a precious resource: water!)
How do I know if I have a leak in my toilet?
The following tests can be down once the tank has FINISHED filling (normally within about five minutes of the last flush):
- Does the toilet constantly make noise?
- Look in the toilet bowl. Do you see a trickle of water flowing down the back?
- And the final, guaranteed test (but not the most pleasant for everyone): If you fold a little toilet paper, and press it on the back wall of the toilet bowl, does it turn all wet?
If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then you may have a leak in your toilet. Which means that constantly you may be wasting water – 24 hours a day – 7 days a week! And the faster the trickle – the more water being lost!
